Happy Father’s Day!
I wish my Dad were still alive. I miss him so very much. I was 18 when he died from a massive heart attack.
My father was a great father, he taught us how to work on cars, how to garden, fish, hunt, how to make maple syrup and so many other things. I remember Christmases we would toboggan to get a tree and then Christmas mornings my Dad would have a fire going in the fireplace and the living room was loaded with gifts, many handmade by Dad. He was very proud of his daughters. He gave us the opportunity to travel to Europe with him on jobs when we were young. I wish I could have gone with him as an adult.
I cherish notes that my Dad sent me when I was little and the pieces that he made. I will always hold my father in my heart.
