I have been thinking about starting up a blog for sometime but kept riding the fence. Finally decided what the hell jump in and take swim. So here I am. My name is Kim S. Joy and I am a stained glass artist and jeweler. I love working with glass and am happiest in my studio. I moved to this house in late May and there is a great sunroom that houses the studio. Everyone has to walk through the studio to get in the house. My kids friends all stop to see what I am working on and stop to chat. Nanook, our dog and Wesley, our cat help out as often as they feel. Wesley sleeps in a tub of antique glass, it is wrapped in paper for safety of course. How he finds it comfortable I do not know.
