former D.C. Workhouse and Reformatory as a public
cultural, educational and heritage center. Many

Cedar Lakes- Nestled in the Appalachian foothills of
the Ohio River Valley, Cedar Lakes Conference
Center began with a vision for the education of
young people. What started as an FFA/FHA Camp
with four cabins and four auxiliary buildings has
grown into a Conference Center composed of a
large variety of guest lodging styles with indoor
meeting spaces. Cedar Lakes Conference Center
provides year-round facilities in a natural setting that
enhances any type of program - educational,
