Catopia at North Star Beginners Stained Glass Class Part 2 coming up!
This is the follow on class to the Pre-Cut Class held in September and October. This time you will be doing all the work! New projects, new experiences!

Beginner's Pre Cut Project Class
Have you ever wondered how a piece of stained glass art is created? This is your opportunity to get a taste of what it is like to create your own mini stained glass window art.
The project is pre-cut, but you will learn how to cut glass properly. You will be learning all the steps to create your art piece. Tools and supplies will be provided by our facilitator, Kim Joy. These include practice glass, pre-cut stained glass in various colors, copper foil, solder, flux and a jump ring for hanging.

Students learn the basic techniques for making a stained glass panel using the copper foil method. Student will choose from various patterns, learn glass cutting and fitting, foiling, soldering, framing and finsihing.
Returning students can pick their own projects. The instructor will be available for assistance and guidance for all students- new and returning.
Tools are provided for classroom use. Instructor will cover glass selection and purchasing the first night of class. No need to buy anything prior to class.
Closed toe shoes are required and long pants suggested. Pregnant women should consult their doctor prior to registering.

Wilson Arts Holiday Invitational 2025
Wilson Arts Holiday Invitational 2025 is a invite event that happens every year. This year it will run from November 13- December 23.
Wilson Arts is open Tuesday through Saturdays from 10 am to 5pm.
Numerous artists will have their work in the Holiday Gift Shop, including pottery, textiles, jewelry, sculpture, ornaments and more.
I will have many pieces of jewelry from previous collections available.
Ornament Sale
An ornament is a decoration, typically used to enhance an object or space. It adds a decorative element, often making something more festive, visually appealing, or personalized.

STAINED GLASS Students receive instruction in the art of stained glass making. Students use copper foil method and gain practice in drafting patterns, cutting glass, grinding, wrapping with copper foil, soldering the glass together and framing. Safety tips are discussed, as well as the common tools used. Students will complete a project(s) in class. Tools for in classroom use are available. Class Fee is $87 Supplies average $70-100 depending on glass selected is not included in class fee.
