I can not believe how time has flown by. I thought i was staying on top of things. Ha! I really need to schedule blog posts on my calendar, I have turned into a total slacker and I am sorry for that.
So tomorrow is our country's 239th birthday! I remember in 1976 ringing the bell in my Dad's church 200 times. The neighbor hood loved us! But hey it was a big moment in history and I wanted to be part of it.
I am going out to Gunston Hall for a BBQ and to watch the fireworks form Ft. Belvoir and Fort Washington MD. I was thinking I would take the dogs but Gordon is scared of the fireworks- today neighbors were shooting off little ones and he was having a hard time. Also when the baseball games are playing over at Government Center he has a cow. We will see what tomorrow brings.
