I can not believe that my last post was in June. I must have fallen asleep and just woke up. It feels like it was last weekend. I am a horrid blogger, why can I not post regularly and frequently? I need to set up a editorial calendar to keep me accountable.
Summer was wonderful here. Classes were amazing, Six weeks of Art Camp at the Workhouse Arts Center teaching the History of Jewelry for 5-10 year olds and Stained Glass for 11-13 year olds. Stained Glass for Adults. GUAC (Grown Up Art Camp). Kumihimo. Knotting. One Day PMC Intensive. It has been a summer to remember for sure.
I have put my house on the market, It was a challenge to clean out excess and make the house look like not my house but the house someone else can envision as theirs. I have decluttered and purged and know there is still stuff to go but how do I let it go? I went to North Carolina to look at neighborhoods and am on my way to Ohio tomorrow to check out the area I feel a draw to. And then reading about art associations and guilds South Carolina keeps popping up. Friends and family that live there are sharing all the good aspects of SC. The tax benefits alone make me want to move there.
Needless to say if you need to finish any projects please contact me so we can get on the calendar. I do have some students work or supplies stored here that will need to be picked up before the moving truck gets here, No it is not scheduled but it is something to consider.
