How do I manage my time and structure my day? Wow this one is hard for me, I am more Coker Spaniel than Border Collie! I am easily distracted! There are so many books to read, piles to move, You tube videos to watch, classes to take houses to look at, art supplies to put in a cart you never will buy.....
I do have a planner, it is a hybrid cross between Passion Planner and Planner Worksheets.
Monthly- I list all appointments, birthdays, appointments, classes (that I am teaching and that I am taking) and any other important events.
Then weekly I get down to the time blocking. Everything is put in the weekly calendar from the monthly calendar, then I block studio time, marketing time, social media time, business education time and so on. I highlight blocks that I am in the studio- this is non-negotiable!
The worksheets are Goals, 90 Day Goal broken down into doable chunks, notes on the goal- what needs to happen etc. Then Action Plan. Review of Quarter. And repeat for all 4 quarters of the year.
It works pretty well, if I do not get distracted! I also have my calendar on my phone so it is always with me.
